Ms. Thakur's practice encompasses a wide array of specialized services, including IP due diligence and audits, open-source audits, and structuring IP transactions, acquisitions, and licenses. She is adept at conducting risk analyses related to intellectual property and regularly advises on commercialization strategies such as licensing and franchise arrangements, technology and software licensing, joint ventures, work-for-hire agreements, development collaborations, endorsement agreements, content licensing, and production arrangements. She has also assisted clients with domain acquisition strategies and has successfully represented them in domain disputes before the WIPO and the .IN Registry (NIXI).

In the domain of data privacy, Ms. Thakur provides strategic counsel on issues related to personal and sensitive data, data breaches, intermediary liabilities, takedown actions under IT laws, as well as data privacy regulations under the new DPDP Act in India.

Prior to her current role at Ediplis Counsels, Ms. Thakur led and expanded the IP practice at IndusLaw for over seven years.
